Matcha Colada

A healthy, refreshing coconut milk-based matcha cocktail perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces white rum
  • 4 ounces vanilla coconut beverage I found mine at Trader Joe’s
  • ½ teaspoon matcha powder
  • ¾ ounce Grand Marnier

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker or large glass, vigorously stir together rum, coconut beverage and matcha powder. If you have one of those fancy matcha whisks, use that! (I don’t so had to use a fork.) Pour in Grand Marnier and stir again.
  • Fill a rocks glass about halfway to three-quarters full of ice. Holding a small sieve over the glass, pour in the matcha mixture. This will help catch any large chunks of the matcha powder that did not get blended in. Enjoy immediately for best flavor!
