Pineapple Turmeric Ginger Elixir

This Pineapple Turmeric Ginger Elixir is a healthy mocktail that’s just as refreshing as it is good for you. Pineapple juice, ginger beer, turmeric and fresh lime combine to make a tasty drink that’s perfect for summer!

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Two rocks glasses
  • Chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cup that measures ounces

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 4 ounces pineapple juice (no sugar added if possible)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • Lime wheels or wedges for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice, then add turmeric, pineapple juice and lime. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • Fill two rocks glasses with ice and strain contents of cocktail shaker evenly between the two.
  • Top with ginger beer and garnish with lime wheels or wedges.
