Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 13.5-ounce can coconut milk
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut beverage
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Turn on low heat for 7-8 hours. If possible, stir once or twice during the cooking process to ensure that all of the ingredients meld together.
  • When serving, garnish with more fresh fruit or nuts, if desired.
