Boilo (a twist on the Hot Toddy)

Ingredients

  • One 750mL bottle of whiskey or bourbon
  • 1/2 of a small bear of honey
  • 1 orange cut in half and any seeds removed
  • 1 lemon cut in half and any seeds removed
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds Don’t forget these! They are the secret ingredient!

Instructions

  • Add whiskey and honey to a large saucepan. Squeeze juice from both the orange and the lemon into the whiskey-honey mixture, then add the squeezed halves to the mix. Add the cinnamon sticks and caraway seeds. Bring mixture to a rolling boil, then turn off the heat. Your boilo is ready!
