Ingredients

  • 1 ounce maple syrup you’ll want to go for high-quality here, no Aunt Jemima!
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • ½ - 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup to taste, depending on how sour the lemons are

Instructions

  • Pour maple syrup into a rocks glass (or small mason jar, as shown in these photos) and then add vodka. Stir to combine.
  • Fill glass three-quarters of the way full with ice, then top with lemon juice and rosemary simple syrup. Stir to combine.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  1. Feel free to use regular simple syrup instead of the rosemary-infused one. To make your own simple syrup, boil equal parts sugar and water (I usually do 1 cup and 1 cup) and let it reduce down to half it's size, or until syrupy. Store any leftovers you don't use in a bottle or mason jar in the fridge.
  2. You're also welcome to use store-bought lemonade rather than fresh-squeezed.
